Abstract (EN)

In this thesis study, the design and electromagnetic analysis of a high-speed permanent magnet synchronous motor (HSPMSM) were conducted. The magnetic circuit structure of the motor, torque production, and power conversion performance were examined. The electromagnetic design of the motor was optimized to meet the requirements of high-speed and efficient operation. During the design process, the fundamental magnetic and electrical parameters of the motor were determined using the RMxprt module, and preliminary analyses were performed. Subsequently, detailed performance evaluation was carried out using the Finite Element Method (FEM). Within the scope of these analyses, magnetic flux distribution, torque generation, and power conversion were examined in detail. The torque and power characteristics of the motor were analyzed under various rotational speeds. According to the results, a continuous torque curve was achieved, indicating that no abrupt torque fluctuations or imbalances occurred within the continuous operating range of the motor due to the applied electromagnetic structure. The findings of this study provide a foundational basis for the design of high-speed synchronous motors and for future research. The results demonstrate the feasibility of using PMSM motors operating at high frequencies and speeds in applications requiring high efficiency and precision, such as turbo blowers. The achievement of an average torque value of 15.67 Nm and the conformity of the current-voltage waveforms to a three-phase synchronous structure indicate a high level of electromechanical compatibility. These analyses confirm that the motor design has been optimized both electromagnetically and thermally, offering a viable alternative for turbo blower systems.
