SUMMARY in this investingatigotion, the students of the second the third and the fourth classes of Muğla University were randomly chosen as subjects so as to evaluate their free-time habits and participation in tourisim activities. The purpose of study was firstly to determine the place of tourism facilities in this general examination. Secondly, students' in dividual features, free-time activities, expectations and presented local facilities in connection with maximizing students recreational activities, as aimed factors in this study.were investigated. According to results and findings of our investigation, muğla university and its authorities are not inthe position of providing and satisfying enough facilities for the students in order to folfil students expectations regarding free-time activities. In conclusion.since muğla university students form %10 percent of muğla city population.the resolts and findings have been given above urge and demand the authorities(university,local and state) to provide: a-) a number of sport fields.materials.financal supports and gualified experts;b-)applicable support policies;and c-)ground for their multi-participation in building new recreactional centers.
