Abstract (EN)
In the foundation universities of Türkiye, the international offices have great importance. International offices enable universities to compete globally, develop collaborations, and supply international students. In Turkish higher education institutions, particularly foundation universities, this study aims to explore the perspectives of international office leaders/coordinators on the definition of leadership and the sustainability of leadership. It also examines how social responsibility and sustainability elements affect establishing a leadership structure in international offices and how this structure can gain recognition internationally. The study uses qualitative data methods, including interviews with staff, managers, students, or other relevant stakeholders, then data analysis techniques to examine the sustainability in international offices of foundation universities. The thesis aims to contribute to the knowledge of how we can improve sustainability and leadership applications in international offices and how they can better integrate these applications into the higher education system in Türkiye and similar institutions.
