Abstract (EN)

In this study, the macroeconomic performance of the MIST and BRICS countries in the period 2010-2020 was analyzed using the selected data set in a comparative manner with multi-criteria decision-making methods. This study, which ranked the importance of emerging powers MIST and BRICS countries according to macroeconomic variables, consists of 4 parts. In the first chapter, statistical decision theory, definition, decision classes, decision making process, decision making criteria, decision making types and decision making models were focused on. In the second part, we focused on CCC methods, stages of CCC methods (CCC), methods of choice for sorting in ccc method, CRITIC method, TOPSIS, VIKOR, MABAC, PROMETHEE I, PROMETHEE II and Gaia interactive module. In the third chapter; MIST-BRICS countries, the concept of BRICS and the economic structure of BRICS countries, the concept of MIST and the economic structure of MIST countries, the trade relations of BRICS-MIST countries were focused on. In Chapter Four; developing economies: comparative analysis of MIST and BRICS countries, separate application of Multi-Criteria Decision-making methods, comparison of MCDM methods, applied methods were interpreted by comparing with each other.
