Abstract (EN)

Infectious Bursal Disease (IBD) was one of the important viral infection in chickens and control programme has mainly bound to routin vaccination especially in early life. In this study, IBD antibody titer changes was observed in 6 commercial layer herds that rearing Hy-line Brown, Hy-line W-36, Nick Brown, Lohmann Brown, Lohmann Lsl and Bowans White, in Afyonkarahisar province. For this purpose, blood samples were obtained in 0, 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42, 49, 56, 63 and 70. days, and 10 chicken were sampled in every group. In addition, herd 1 was sampled two more times due to epidemic. As totally, 680 blood samples were obtained. A indirect IBDV ELISA test were preferred to control of the serum samples for IBDV specific antibody presence and titer values. Two different vaccination style were applied in studied farms; in first group, inactive vaccine was choosed for first vaccination, second apply was performed in 11-14. days using live vaccine and live rapel applies were used two more times. In normal conditions, this programme has been proposing. In second group, vaccination was started with live vaccines in 3 farms in the 6-8. days, and continued with inactive apply in 7 to 11 days, and finished with two more live vaccination during 14 to 22. days.In the evaluation of vaccination program, management conditions and grafic of antibody titer changes, it is obvious that second apply has been detected more effective in the farms that have risk for epidemic. As a another finding of this study, manipulative performings have been effecting negatively of the antibody increase.Key Words: Antibody, ELISA, Infectious Bursal Disease, Vaccination, Virus.
