Abstract (EN)

It's clear that the Diwan of Yunus Emre involves many elements that are related to Turkish culture when evaluated in terms of Turkish Mythology. In this thesis; the soil concept, having a very important role in Turkish Mythology, was studied by analizing the soil consept in the diwan of Yunus Emre. In the study, the couplets of the Diwan of Yunus Emre which involves the soil concept were mainly taken into consideration. The first edition of "The Diwan of Yunus Emre" by Mustafa Tatçı was used as the primary resource for the study. In the first section of the study, some information about the life of Yunus Emre, the period in which he lived, and his effects on his period was given, and in the second section some information about Turkish Mythology was included. In the third section, the soil concept that was mentioned in the couplets of Yunus Emre was analized with Turkish Mythology in terms of its role in Turkish and World Mythology. After this analysis, the results of each part were mentioned. At the end of the study, the impressions of the soil concept in the couplets of Yunus Emre that are related to the phisophy of creation in terms of Turkish Mithology were tried to be presented. It was tried to be proven that Turkish Mythology and the thought system of Yunus Emre, despite the form differences, basically agree with each other in terms of the soil concept. In this study, it was tried to be emphasized how important the soil concept is as a meaning and demonstration of creation in The Diwan of Yunus Emre in terms of Turkish culture.
