Analysing Yunus Emre's poems according to the traditional literary theory

This study, which analyzes Yunus Emre's Divan according to the Traditional Literary Theory, reveals a direction that deals with the concepts of tradition, art, artist and society in connection with each other and also reveals its layered structure, which is loaded with deep meanings that each concept has. In this respect, each concept involved in has been handled with its in-depth structure that differs from its known meaning. The unity provided by the revealed pattern of meaning, as well as the "sophia perennis" revealed in each connection, attempted to be analysed in depth offered by Yunus Emre's art. It is understood that Yunus Emre has the qualifications of being a traditional artist and that his work sets an important example as a result of compliance with the principles and rules it has. Yunus Emre's Divan, which is a voluminous source containing his poems, has been subjected to a detailed examination in line with the principles and rules of traditional art. It has been tried to examine the concrete expressions of the power and energy emerging from the work, which include the penetration of deep-rooted transcendent truths, and which also constitute a vehicle for the transmission of truths preserved in the cultural texture. By removing the form cover of the principles and criteria, which are revealed with a wide semantic expansion, in the poems, the source of this dynamism of Yunus Emre, whose influence on society has continued for centuries, and the art he presents, has been tried to be discovered.
