Abstract (EN)
Recently, the enviromental application of material has been increased. Clay/TiO2 composites used for this aim shows a high photo-catalytic and anti-bacterial behaviour. It is known that TiO2?s composites produced from clay show photo-catalytic properties, in these composites clay absorbs organic and bacterial elements and with sun ray TiO2? s photo-catalytic effect decompose to organic and bacterial structures. To produce these composites generally we use sol-gel and hydrolysis methods. In these methods Inorganic salts precursors (titanium tetrachloride, titanium sulphate) and alcoholic salts precursors (tetra butyl titanate, tetra isopropyl titanate) are used.In this study TiO2 particles, Montmorillonite-TiO2, SiO2-TiO2 composites were produced by hydrolysis method. For hydrolysis method TiCl4 precursor was used. The produced composites show photo-catalytic properties against orange AO7 acid were investigated and componed. Analysis of the structure with Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), X-ray Diffraction (XRD) and X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) were carried out. Elemental compositions of these composites were also investigated with Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS). After that the photo-catalytic properties of these composites were investigated against orange AO7 acid with UV spectroscopy.
