Abstract (EN)

When the historical process is examined, the concepts of tax and state are two concepts that cannot be considered separately. These two concepts bring the people who use the power of power and the citizens, who are one of the parts of the state organ, against each other. While those in power want to ensure the continuity of the state's income, citizens want less interference with their property rights. This conflict is so important that it has been effective in some events that have left their mark on history, such as the Magna Carta, the Boston Tea Party and the French Revolution. Today, citizens and those in power are confronted by the concept of tax. The sociological characteristics of the individuals who make up the society can carry this conflict to different points. In the study, it is examined how the last generation, the Z Generation, who are included in the society, perceive the concepts of tax and government and how they establish a relationship between these two concepts.
