Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to determine the effect of type A and B personality traits of high school students representing which is individuals in the generation Z, who are a part of today's renewed and developing technology, on their individual career planning. For this purpose, the sample of this study consists of high school students according to education and training in District of Isparta Province. Survey method was used as data collection tool. The questionnaire includes career planning scale in the first section, personality scale type A and B in the second and demographic data in the third section. The data obtained were analyzed using SPSS 20. and AMOS Programs. Percentage, frequency, arithmetic mean and standard deviation, confirmatory factor and reliability analysis, correlation, multiple regression analysis, independent sample T-test and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) methods were used in the analysis of the data, and the collected data were interpreted in accordance with the purpose of the research. As a result of the research, it was determined that type A personality traits have a significant relationship and effect on the importance attached to work, the importance attached to speed dimensions, and the dimensions of career adaptability and career optimism of individual career planning.
