Abstract (EN)
The main purpose of this research is primarily to reveal whether the gender perceptions of the Z generation, who were born into the rapidly changing world and technology and have just started to enter the business world, have an effect on individual career planning. In this study, survey technique was used from quantitative research methods. The research universe consists of Generation Z students enrolled at Malatya İnönü University. In this context, 400 students participated in the research, and the answers of a total of 396 students were subjected to examination due to the incorrect answers of 4 students. When the data obtained as a result of the research were examined, it was determined that the gender perceptions of the participants were close to the traditional gender perception. Correlation analysis was performed to determine the relationship between gender perception and individual career planning. As a result of the correlation analysis, low level significant relationships were found between gender perception and individual career planning, and only high significant relationships were found between gender perception and the plan creation sub-dimension. Path analysis was performed to reveal the effect of gender perception on individual career planning. As a result of the path analysis, it was determined that gender perception had a significant impact on individual career planning and dimensions. Similar to the results of correlation analysis, it was found that gender perception had a high level of effect on the dimension of plan creation.
