Abstract (EN)
In this study the life, literary personality, world view of Zakirzade Abdullah Effendi and the transcription translation of the divan (collection of his poems) written by him was examined.Zakirzade Abdullah Effendi is a Sufi poet, who lived in the 17th century, when the Ottoman State was at the end of its most magnificent period. No research has been performed on the life or the works of the poem yet. He has been a Sheik who is a member of the Celvetiyye branch of Halvetî tariqat. Like all other tariqat member poets, the aim of the poems was to educate the people and have them made love Allah rather than an art demonstration and therefore some defects might be seen in both form and meter aspects. We concluded our research on the handwritten divan which we supplied from the İnebey Library in Bursa and we have not seen any other copy of the book.In this study, we aimed to introduce the work and his author who is the subject of our thesis to the literature word and contribute to the works in the Sufism literature area.
