Özet (EN)
This thesis examines the development of communication and gender-specific developments in the Disney masterpieces "Beauty and the Beast" and "Aladdin". The focus is on the comparisons between the original animated films from 1991 and 1992 with their live-action remakes from 2017 and 2019. The analysis includes formal film techniques such as coloring, lighting, camera work as well as a character analysis, including feminist and psychoanalytical approaches. The research methodology is inductive and combines quantitative and qualitative analysis. Based on existing academic work, different analytical techniques are explained, from formal film techniques to feminist film and psychoanalytical analysis. The case studies of "Beauty and the Beast" and "Aladdin" are examined using selected sequences, highlighting changes between the originals and the remakes. The results of this work provide an insight into the extent to which media companies are changing their content to meet contemporary standards. Thus, the results of this study can contribute to the social sciences in relation to media and communication. Keywords: Disney Classics, Remakes, Transformation, Communication, Analysis
