Abstract (EN)

The goal of robotization in livestock farming is to make farm operations and animal management more efficient, effective, and sustainable. To achieve this objective, various robotic technologies and automation systems are employed to optimize farm operations. Robots perform repetitive and time-consuming tasks more swiftly and precisely, thereby enhancing labor efficiency. This, in turn, allows businesses to increase production and reduce costs. Given the demanding conditions often associated with livestock farming, robots enable tasks to be carried out without exposing humans to these challenging circumstances, consequently improving worker health and safety. Robots can operate continuously day and night, without interruption, ensuring uninterrupted production. Robotic solutions such as improved feed management and effective waste handling contribute to reducing environmental impact and promoting sustainability. By utilizing technologies such as artificial intelligence, image processing, and automation, robots can provide expertise in areas like animal health and feed management. In conclusion, the aim of our thesis is to support more effective, efficient, sustainable, and human-focused robotic livestock farming. This support aims to lessen the burden on farm owners while boosting production capacity and ensuring sustainability
