Abstract (EN)
Historical buildings are not only architectural works, but also original documents that testify to the civilization, culture, tradition, important development and historical event to which they belong. For this reason, the restoration works to be applied to the historical buildings are of great importance. Considering the damages in historical buildings due to the use of wrong materials in our country, the importance of the studies carried out in this field increases once again. In addition, recycling has become increasingly important in recent years. Taking into account all these factors, the most appropriate binder / aggregate ratio was determined to be 1/2 as a result of the studies carried out in the literature. In the experimental studies, river sand was used as aggregate type. Since lime is generally used in repair mortars as well as river sand, zeolite and blast furnace slag were used to see the effect of lime and natural and artificial pozzolans. Three series of samples were prepared using different amounts of zeolite, blast furnace slag and brick powder and physical and mechanical tests were performed on the prepared mortar samples. As a result of the experiments, it was determined that blast furnace slag and zeolite can be used in repair mortars.
