Abstract (EN)
In this experiment, availability of zeolite in koi fish culture was examined. The study was constituted as four different experimentsIn the first experiment, it was determined that adding 2% and 10% zeolite in feed in proportion to its amount had positive effect on decrease of daily average TAN values (P<0.05). In the experiment, it was determined that adding 10% zeolite in feed caused an increase in pH and dissolved oxygen values (P<0.05).In the second experiment, addition of zeolite in two different rates in feed and/or aquarium water caused an increase in pH and dissolved oxygen values, and a decrease in NH3 and TAN values (P<0.05).In the third experiment, the highest weight gain and the best feed conversion ratio in 2nd group was determined (P<0.05). The difference between the other experiment groups? growth and feed conversion ratios was determined not to be significant (P>0.05). In the experiment, adding 7 and 20 g/l zeolite in aquarium water caused an increase in pH, NH3 and TAN values (P<0.05). Addition of 2% and 10% zeolite in feed caused a decrease in NH3 and TAN values. In the fourth experiment, it was determined that the 3rd group had the highest weight gain among the experiment groups (P<0.05). The difference between the other experiment groups? growth and feed conversion ratios was determined not to be significant (P>0.05). In the experiment, addition of zeolite in two different rates in feed and in aquarium water in proportion to its amount was determined to cause an increase in pH, NH3 and TAN values (P<0.05).As a consequence, it was determined that adding zeolite in feed or aquarium water has positive effects on growth parameters and aquatic conditions of koi fish (P<0.05).
