The Translation and Evuluation Of Zaynaldin b. Hamdallah Mustawfi Qazvini's work Zayl-e Tarikh-e Gozida

In our master's thesis titled "Translation and Evaluation of Zaynaldin bin Hamdallah Mustawfi Qazvinî's Zayl-e Tarikh-e Guzida", Zaynaldin bin Hamdallah Qazvinî's written work between 1389-90 / 1399 was translated into Turkish from Persian. Persian historiography begins with the translation "Tarikh-e Tabari" by Samanid vizier Belamî from Arabic to Persian. The Western expedition of the Mongols to Iran and the establishment of the Ilkhanid State there began the golden age of Persian historiography. Ata Malek Juvayni, Raşidaldin Hamadani, Hamdallah Qazvini, Banakati, Abdallah Kashani and Vassaf were among those who grew up in this period and immortalized with their works. The first world history in modern sense was written in this period. In addition to the general history books, many works have been written as the period history. One of them is Zayl-e Tarikh-e Guzida. Zaynaldin b. Hamdallah Mustawfi Qazvinî wrote his work with what he saw and heard, as well as what he learned from scholars such as Mawlana Shamsaddin. Qazvinî wrote especially about Jalayerids and Chobanids, which appeared on Ilkhanid state lands after the death of Abu Said Bahkadır Khan. In this study, the importance of this precious work, which sheds light on the geography of Azerbaijan, Iraq-i Arab and Iraq-i Acem between 1341-42 / 1391-92, was translated into Turkish.
