Abstract (EN)
In recent years, ecological balance has been damaged because of industrial studies which are changing and developing quickly. Increasing environment pollution appears in the news of all countries importantly. Heavy metal is the most important reasons of environmental pollution. In this working(or study), chrome metal which founded in waste water frequently and causes of rather toxic effect is used. Chrome is founded as Cr(III) and Cr(VI) forms in nature. Cr(VI) can pass from cell membranes because of radius of it and that's why it is more dangerous. Chrome passes to hydrophilic stages by means of lots of industrial processes like metal coat, metalmanipulation, paint production, leather tanning and steel production. In this working, it is researched on adsorbent which it will be used to remove of Chrome(VI) form which has high toxic effect. For this, there are some methods as reduction, precipitation, ion exchange, solvent extraction. However, these methods are quite expensive. Also it is not common to use them in the practice because of low applicability. In this study, it is used adsorption as a common method to remove Cr(VI). Corncob and bone flour are naturel adsorbents and these adsorbents have low adsorption performance. Therefore, this study has been continued with olive pomace and olive leaves.
