Abstract (EN)

Deep drawing is a plastic deformation process that gives the shape of a sheet metal die with the mechanical action of the punch. By this process, three-dimensional parts with certain depth and profiles are obtained by collapsing the workpiece with two-dimensional, planar geometry into the press with elements called drawing dies. The quality of the deep drawing process depends on the correct and appropriate selection of the parameters affecting the drawing process. The important thing here is to accurately control the flow of the material to form into the die after plastic deformation. In this study, it was investigated to obtain the optimum punch curvature radius by using numerical simulation processes with the aid of computers in the design of deep drawing dies, which are very costly, and also investigated fixed and variable blanc holder force effect for same process. In this content, simulations were carried out in computer environment with the explicit finite element approach and the consistency of the results obtained was confirmed. It is aimed to create a prediction for solving problems that may arise during the production phase by determining the parameters that will create input to the design.
