Abstract (EN)
In this study, the resin is produced by using valonia tannin which is can be easily supplied and obtained from plants. Removing and obtaining again of Zinc, by adsorption, are provided with the help of resin. Adsorption isoterm and kinetics are studied. In addition, SEM photographs of valonia tannin and resin, EDS, FT-IR, BET-N2, potential of zeta characteristics are examined. It is found that adsorption efficiency for resin is 38-53 mikron in grain dimension, at 350 rpm, and pH 4 is above 96 %. Adsorption of zinc is endothermic and when the temperature increases, adsorption also increases. The adsorption of Zn+2 metal ions on tannin resin conforms to second degree velocity kinetic. When isoterm constants are examined, it is obtained that adsorption process conforms to Langmuir isoterms, but conforms to Freundlich isoterms much better. It is possible to obtain again Zn+2 by doing desorption study. Keywords: Zn+2, Valonia, Resin, Tannin, Adsorption, Kinetic, Isoterm.
