Abstract (EN)

In nanoscale powder production, the operating temperature is the most important parameter affecting the particle size and morphology. Agglomeration is observed when the operating temperature increases and it is thought that the formation of larger particles is also a result of that. Zinc Oxide nanoparticles were produced by Hydrothermal Synthesis Method at different thermal decomposition temperatures (140, 180 and 220 ° C) and different holding times (12, 18 and 24 h) from zinc nitrate solution having a concentration of 0,05 M, pH = 11. The characterization of the produced powders was investigated by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), EDX, X-Ray (XRD) and UV-Vis studies. As a result of these studies, the structure of Zinc Oxide nanoparticles was found to be in rods and floral morphologies, no foreign material was found and the Eg values were found to be 3.13 eV. The purpose of our thesis is to improve the electronic, optical, magnetic and thermal properties of nanoscale powders and contribute to the widespread use of these areas.
