Abstract (EN)
Studies of the content of the atmosphere have made great progress in the last two decades, parallel to the development of molecular biological techniques. The identification of allergens in the atmosphere is particularly important topics, since it allows identification of the source causing allergies in the sensitive patients. In this thesis, three pollen allergens (Bet v 1, Phl p 5 and Amb a 1) were sampled by using Cascade High Volume Air Sampler from atmosphere during 2015 and its amounts were measured by ELISA technique. At the same time, pollens of Betulaceae, Poaceae and Ambrosia which is associated with these allergens were collected by Hirst trap and were counted. A total of 220 days of allergen and 282 days of pollen sampling were performed. Annual pollen concentrations: 1500.8 pollen / m3 for Betulaceae, 147.8 pollen / m3 for Poaceae and 717.6 pollen / m3 for Ambrosia. The peak days and values for these allergens respectively were 18 May (141,3 pollen/m3), 27 May (15,3 pollen/m3) and 31 August (184.9 pollen/m3). In the result of allergen monitoring, obtained total allergen concentrations were 133.9 pg/m3 for Bet v 1, 56.7 pg/m3 for Phl p 5 and 6.84 x 10-3 U/m3 for Amb a 1. The majority of these allergens were determined on filters which collects particles greater than 10 micrometer (PM>10). The dates on which allergens are most intensively recorded; 10 May (9.26 pg / m3) for Bet v 1, 8 July (31.7pg / m3) for Phl p 5, and 24 August (8.40x10-4 U / m3) for Amb a 1. As a result of the study, it was found that the topographical structure of Zonguldak province and the dominant wind direction were particularly effective on the distribution of allergens as well as pollen. On the other hand, some pollen and allergen concentrations have been found to reach by transport in Zonguldak province.
