It includes muslim judge's decisions as a result of their duty, the documents sending by head office and ıt also includes accident, township and the important events in town and village.Court records is first-hand sources for the local history research and It explains social, economic, cultural and legal situation of period ıt was held. It also give information about general situation. Because Ottaman Empire applyed similar law and bureaucracy with small differences.In this study, the registery which making transcription and evaluation is court records of Giresun. It keeps recording between 19 Rajab 1316 and 13 Muharram 1317 ( M. 1898?1899 ).Heritage, divorce and demand for child support are the most common issues in the registery.
