Abstract (EN)

The Sharia Court Records are one of the most important resources for researches of Ottoman Empire's city history. One can have an idea about relotionships between Müslim and non-Müslim congregations, tax claims, mariage and divorcement, appointment of guardian and climony, record officialy fixed pirices, public order and military obligations by looking at the Sharia Records. Records were kept for al most every city and town within the Empire. 95 Records were make firm spesific to Amasya between the years 1624-1876. In this study; Amasya Sharia Record no. 15's which was kept between the years 1663-1665, transcription and consideration is made.
