Abstract (EN)
During the 19th century the Khanates of West Turkestan were struggled with many conflicts that caused by both internal and external political figüre. Thanks to their geographical location, the West Turkestan khanates have an economic structure that based on agriculture and animal husbandry. The fertile structure of the soil is very appropriate fort he cultivation of crops such as wheat, cotton and silk. And also the khanates were located at the crossroads of trade routes ensured that domestic and foreign trade remained alive. Trade products such as silk, spices, cotton and precious Stones that used in jewelry provided the khanates to experience an enormous flow of trade with other states. Since these khanates were located on the silk road, they turned into trade center. All of these khanates which are located for trade and have fertile lands were popular and this situation attracts other states, especially those have political goals. These khanates were struggle with various issuses and chaos due to competition between them and mostly the influence of other states. The Russıan, which are on of the states with political ambitions belonging to the region have strived to take trade routes and natural resource reserves of the West Turkestan Khanates under their control for many years.
