Abstract (EN)

As required by consignment and resettling law taken by the OttomanGovernment in 1915, some part of the Ottoman Armenians were temporarily made tomigrate to the south of Anatolia, Syria and Iraq, claiming that they were incooperation with the enemy, threatened the integrity of state and made every kind oftorture to the Turkish and Muslims public by rebelling. Thanks to the intense anti-Türk propaganda of Armenian Government and Diaspora, this compulsoryimmigration is evaluated as genocide in the publicsense and is accepted that theArmenians ?were exposed to genocide in 1915? by the governments of somecountries. In our thesis, we tried to evaluate whether or not this assumption is true byfocusing on the Armenian compulsory immigration with all its phases.
