Analysis of female sybolism on press advertisements from the semiotics perspective since 1950

The aim of this research is to develop a deep point of view for the media advertisement in which the women have taken part in Turkey since 1950s up till now and to try to do it in the light of the inspection method of semiotics/semiology. As we start to make this inspection, we need to have a short information about the "woman". For this reason, firstly the short history of the woman and its period of change will be reviewed and then the inspection methods of the seismology will be mentioned. As it will be told in details soon, we can say that seismology is a scientific inspection method. Within the scope of this inspection method the more information have about the thing which is going to be inspected (visual products such as advertisement poster / signboard, photography etc.,) It can be seen that more opportunity he/she will have for the interpretation and explanation. For this reason, talking about the short history of the women will significantly contribute to the inspection. Therefore, while analyzing a woman (woman's) advertisement, having some knowledge about that period will enable someone to have an idea about the events at that time as if they were already there. The aim of this research ; is to provide information to the researchers, academicians and to the people who would like to know about the subject.
