Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to investigate the subgroups of (2,4,4) triangle group and classify them according to their quotient spaces. In the first chapter the thesis is summarized briefly. The second chapter is devoted to basic concepts that are required in the later chapters. In the third chapter, the subgroups of (2,4,4) triangle group have been investigated and they are classified according to their quotient spaces. In the last chapter, some of the subgroups of (2,4,4) triangle group of index less than or equal to 10 with a generating set have been determined.
