Abstract (EN)

The objective of the thesis is to shed light on the parent side of the presentcurriculum and to display the parent views about the elementary curriculum applications.In this context , the principal of the thesis is evaluating the view of the parents who hasfifth grade students in primary schools.The problem of the search is to display the opinions of the parents about 2005Elementary School Curriculum.The universal of the search consists of the parents of the 5th grades students inBursa city, Nilüfer and Yıldırım ,the towns of Bursa. The research?s sample is comprisedof 235 parents of fifth graders that are chosen randomly in this universe. Among theparents 48 of them send their children to private schools and the rest 187 parents sendtheirs to state schools.In the direction of the thesis, to collect data, the researcher use data collection scalewhich is arrenged by the researcher. In data analysis of research the datas are eveluated incomputer environment and the researcher benefits from SPSS 13.0 program for statisticalanalysis. The results of these eveluation is given with tables in details.According to the results of research,there hasn?t been a meaningful differencebetween the views of parents about 2005 elementary school curriculums and gender,marital status, education level, proximity to child and the place variables of the parents.Although, there has been a meaningful difference between the views of parents about 2005elementary school curriculums and the economic status of parents.Key Words: 2005 Elementary School Education Curriculum, Constructivism,Parent?s opinion.
