Evaluation of writing training activities for 8. class in the 2005 programme: Example of Afyonkarahisar

In this research, it is tried to determine relationship between primary 8 classroom activities to develop students' writing skills and writing skills.During the research process,Turkish teachers working in primary schools of Afyonkarahisar were given a survey prepared for the activities of writing instruction. In this survey, Turkish teachers who applies to writing activities, partially implements and does not implement have been determined. It is identified that Ali Cetinkaya Elementary School have implemented writing activities, Susuz Elementary school has partially implemented, and the Selçuk Elementary School Elementary School do not apply writing activities. After schools were identified, the students attending these schools were asked to do the work of writing.Writing exercises of students "Written Expression Evaluation Form" were converted into numerical expressions.The data obtained from the written narrative evaluation form was evaluated with the help of SPSS software. "One-Way Analysis of Variance" method was used to determine the level of success in terms of the level of education of school students' writing, "T-test for independent variables" method was used to determine the level of success of students' writing in terms of gender.In the results of the study, it has been witnessed that students' writing skills have been developed with activity-based and practical training in writing which have been offered in the 2005 Writing Program.
