A research, policy of reaction and effects of 2008 World Economic Crisis On SME's: The case Perşembe Pazarı Hırdavatçılar Piyasası located in İstanbul Karaköy disstrict

This thesis aims at identifying the managemets effects of 2008 crisis on Turkish SME?s, interpreting all financial crisis which have been effective in Turkey and the World so far. Rather than the financial aspect, we tried to find out how SME?s recovered from the crisis despite of all out of date managemet styles. Also, we tried to discuss the possibility of adopting new and modern management styles, considering the complication of present managemet structures and deadlocks in Turkey. Research field had to be small due to economic conditions and time restrictions. However, The research was carried out in Persembe Market, Karaköy, İstanbul, which is thought to reflect the valid example of SMEs in Turkey. Obtained data was used to interpret present conditions and make inferences concerning the future.
