Abstract (EN)

Objective: Monitorize the mid urethral complex volume (smooth muscle of urethra and urethra)with 3 dimensional high frequency ultrasonography and compare stress urinary incontinence and continan patients. Method: 34 Stress urinary incontinence and 34 continan patients included the study. Study organized as group matching case-control regime. After ethic committee aprovment 34 SUI and 34 continan patients include the study. Both groups performed urogynecologic examination, ped test, 3 days urinary diari, UDI-6, IIQ-7, life quality test, FSFI, pelvci floor muscle power, perinometry, q tip test and 3 dimensional high frequency endovaginal ultrasonography. Off-line stage by the transvaginal ultrasonography views, urethral complex and rabdosphincter muscle size measured. Results: While evaluated 3 dimensional high frequency ultrasonography measurements, rabdosphyncter muscle thickness is 2.49±0.62 in SUI and 2.82±0.44 in control patients and SUI patients has significant decrese of rabdosphyncter muscle thickness (p<0.05). There is no significant differences between both groups in rabdosphyncter muscle volume, urethral complex volume, intramural part of urethra length, bladder-symphisis length, urethra-levator ani length and symphisis-levator ani length. Result: While compare SUI and healthy control patients, rabdospfhyncter muscle volume and urethral complex muscle volume there is no significant difference. Also in SUI patients has significant decresed rabdosphyncter muscle thickness.
