Abstract (EN)

In this study, in order to create compounds in the form of Zn1-xMxO, Gd and Ni were used for M by using solid state reaction method. Once the compounds were prepared, their structural and magnetic properties were investigated in detail. For this reason, in the first part of this work; the microstructural and physical properties of ZnO and doped ZnO compounds have been summarized. Some theories of magnetism, structural properties of condensed materials and their phase transformations are reviewed. Structural changes due to the thermal process and doping were investigated via Differantial Thermal Analysis (DTA), X-ray difraction pattern (XRD), scanned electron microscope (SEM) and EDX, and on the other hand changes occuring in the magnetic properties are investigated by M-T and M-H measurements by using VSM magnetometer.
