The evaluation of Qur'an courses for 4-6 years according to the educational opinions

In this study, pre-school religious education was discussed. The research consists of an introduction and four parts. In the introduction part, the problem and sub-problems of the research, the purpose of the research, hypotheses, limitations, related studies and method are included. In the first part of the research, which was determined as "Pre-School Education", the Purpose, Importance and History of Preschool Education were discussed. The developmental characteristics of preschool children, which are related to each other and should be evaluated as a whole, have been created as a result of the literature review under the title of "Development Characteristics in 4-6 Age Group Children" in the second part. In the third chapter, the Purpose, Legal Basis and Practice Principles of the 4-6 Age Qur'an Courses affiliated with DIB are discussed. While there is a systematic program based on regulations and directives, such as the curriculum of the 4-6 years old Qur'an courses affiliated with the DIB, which is studied within the scope of the field research, it is not possible to talk about a systematic curriculum for private pre-school Qur'an courses. For this reason, the one-month program of the annual lesson plan used by the courses affiliated to the DIB is included in the third section as an example. In the fourth part of the study, the findings and comments obtained from the field study are given. In this section, four categories were created, namely the proficiency status of the instructor, the training venue and training materials, the annual lesson plan, the course contents and the questions about the activities. Seven categories were formed as a result of the discourse analysis in the questions that the teacher interpreted according to his/her experience.
