Abstract (EN)
In this research, it is aimed to assess the activities in the teacher's guide book of Information Technology and Software Course for 5th grade according to the activity design principles. In accordance with this purpose, in the study which is figured considering qualitative research method, 121 activities in the teacher's guide book were analyzed through document review. Within this context, The activities were analyzed according to these principles that Özmantar and Bingölbali (2009) designated: the purpose of the activity, classroom management, the activity having more than one starting point, the tools to be used within the activity, the roles of teacher and students on the implementation of the activity, the students' foreknowledge, the challenges and errors of the students, assessment and evaluation and flexibility to consider during the implementation of the activity. In designing the activities in the teacher's guide book of Information Technology and Software, generally, it was determined that the principles such as the purpose of the activity, classroom management, student's prior knowledge, the roles of teacher and student and the materials to be used within the activity were taken part. However, it was determined that along with assessment and evaluation and the challenges of a student and errors of a student, the principles stating that an activity should have more than one starting point were not taken into consideration sufficiently within the activity design.
