Abstract (EN)

This study aims to analyze the nature of US-Israeli relations and assess their impact on the trajectory of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Within this framework, the study is divided into three main chapters. The first chapter examines the history of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and analyzes the main turning points it has undergone from its inception to the present day. The second chapter focuses on the development of US-Israeli relations and the main stages that shaped these relations, as well as highlighting the levels of unlimited US support for Israel and the underlying motivations for this support. The third chapter provides an in-depth analysis of the impact of this alliance on the conflict, through four interconnected levels: The internal Palestinian level, the internal Israeli level, the internal American level, and the regional level. The study relies on the historical-analytical method in order to trace the development of US-Israeli relations, shed light on the transformations that these relations have undergone, and also analyze the effects of this alliance on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. One of the most important findings of the study is that US-Israeli relations were not a neutral external actor in the conflict, but rather an influential party that contributed to prolonging it and complicating the chances of a just and comprehensive solution. Moreover, this influence was not limited to the internal level between Israel and the Palestinians, but extended to the entire regional and Arab system.
