Abstract (EN)

Abdülmecîd İbn. Şeyh Nasûh b. İsrâil Amâsî (d. 996/1588), XVI. he is an Ottoman scholar who lived around Amasya, Lâdik and Tosya in the 16th century. He wrote many works on Islamic Sciences, especially tafsir and hadith. He wrote his works himself and his manuscripts began to be unearthed in different libraries. The work named Makâmâtu'l-mucevvidîn ve derecâtu'l-muallimîn fî tecvîdi'l-Kur'âni'l-mubîn also belongs to the author and is available in the Sulaymaniyah Manuscripts Library. According to the assignation record, the work was completed in 979/1571. The work, which is the author's manuscript with naskh calligraphy, deals with the virtues of the Qur'an, the differences in recitation and the principles of reading, and is designed as forty maqams. Abdulmecîd b. after making an impressive introduction, Nasuh divided the first chapters into various topics related to the virtues of reading the Qur'an. Afterwards, he touched upon some of the subjects of the Science of Recitation, and in the last part, he gave place to the science of tajweed and its rules. Choosing the prose style as his style, the author also used verse from time to time, thus adding color to his work. Since the subject is the Qur'an, he naturally evaluated the verses of the Qur'an as a source, and since the narrations form the basis of the phenomena, he also reserved a large number of hadiths in the statement of the subjects. Regarding the hadiths he gave as a source, sometimes he is called sahih, hasen, garib, etc. In terms of method. made evaluations and sometimes did not contact at all. At the same time, he benefited from the verse sources of this field by quoting from Ibn al-Jazari and Shatibi. He sometimes made translations in his work that he wrote in Arabic, and by using Ottoman Turkish in these translations, he led to the emergence of a different copyright study.
