Factors affecting mortality in trauma patients admitted to the emergency department

One of the leading topics in the global burden of disease and global death rates is trauma. Trauma represents approximately 10% of the global death rate and 16% of the global burden of disease. The World Health Organization (WHO) states that innovative approaches to basic trauma care guidelines for trauma prevention and treatment approaches are needed. Determining the causes of death due to trauma is of vital importance in preventing preventable deaths. In our study, it is aimed to determine and correct preventable and improveable factors that may cause mortality in trauma patients.
