Abstract (EN)
In this study, occupational safety practices used by Adana Water and Sewerage Administration (ASKİ) during maintenance and repair works of sewerage systems was investigated. L-type matrix risk analysis method was used for the evaluation of risk cause of possible accidents and near miss events were tried to be determined. As a result of using L-type matrix risk evaluation method for hazards and risks necessary precautions were determined in order to decrease the risk to the acceptable level using all necessary control measures. Additionally, all emergency plans, education activities and emergency exercises has been reviewed and adequacy at the practices were also evaluated.
