Abstract (EN)

Bacterial canker, caused by Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae (P. s. pv. syringae ) is economically important diseases of sweet cherry trees. In this study, antibacterial effect of 77 isolates consisted of 37 out of 77 isolates obtained from blossom and leaves and 40 isolates from the collection of Prof. Dr. Mustafa MİRİK were investigated against Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae under in vitro and semi-in vivo conditions. According to in vitro and semi-in vivo test, 5 antagonist bacteria isolates were suppressed the pathogen ranged from %16.67 to %75. When these effective antagonist isolates were identified as Bacillus mycoides, Pseudomonas chlororapsis, B. simplex, B. cereus and P. gessardii by MALDI-TOF MS, respectively. The most effective result was determinedas P. chlororapsis namely KA5 inhibited pathogen growth as %75.
