Abstract (EN)

This study was conducted to determine the ecology and biodiversity of the myxomycetes Sinanpaşa Forests in Afyonkarahisar province. Bark of living trees, animal feces, litter, decaying wood, and bark of decaying wood were collected for prepearing moist chamber cultures. 33 taxa which belong to 5 genera of myxomycetes were identified from field collection and moist chamber culture. 5 out of 33 taxa were recorded as field collection as well as moist chamber culture. Cribraria costata (Dhillon & Nann.-Bremek. 1978), Cribraria rufa (Roth) Rostaf. 1875, Cribraria oregana H.C. Gilbert 1932, Diderma cinereum Morgan 1894, Comatricha longipila (Nann-Bremek, 1962), Stemonaria laxiretis, Nann.-Bremek. & Y. Yamam. 1990 Arcyria glauca Lister ex Minakata 1908 are new record for Türkiye. The percentages of species belonged to the orders: Physarales (% 15,625), Stemonitales (4,37), Trichiales (2,87), Liceales (% 28,125). The species diversity index was H'=3,11. Field survey was conduntedspring, summer, early autum and late autum in 2013. For both samples and collections of myxomycete fruiting bodies, data on a series of microhabitat parameters (pH, subsratum type and moisture, light intensity and the extent of contact of the substratum with the ground, the stage of decomposition of coarse woody debris and forest floor litter) were recorded. Litter was the most productive substratum, in terms of species, with 20 species identified from 35 records. Bark was the substratum recorded for 11 species from 28 records. Using canonical correspondence analysis (CCA), environmental parameters recorded within substrate sampling were related to species abundances.
