Ahmed Müsellem Edirnevi "Şerh-i Kasîde-i Şumû-ı Lâmi's workReview and text

"Şerh-i Kasîde-i Şumû-ı Lâmi' fî Beyân-ı Etvâr-ı Sâbi'" is an annotation written by Sheikh Ahmed Müsellem Efendi from Edirne (d. 1752) on the qasida about Atwar-ı Sab'a written by Hasan Sezâi Efendi (d. 1738). It addresses many Sufism topics. At the same time, this work of Müsellem, which belongs to the Sezâiyye branch of the Gülşenî branch of Halvetiyye, is important in terms of revealing the mystical line of the Sesiathi and giving an original interpretation to Gülşenîlik. In this study, we have written a text translation of the text in Turkish letters, translated Arabic and Persian phrases into Turkish and we prepared a dictionary for the words in the text. All this is included in the appendix of the thesis together with the original text of the work. In the first part of the thesis that we give information about the life of Müsellem, information about Halvetîlik, Gülşenîlik, Sezâîlik, Hasan Sezâî is given and the mystical line of Ahmed Müsellem is presented. In the second part, there is a summary of the content of the work, which describes the content of the work in a concise manner. In the third chapter, the concepts of Sufism such as tevhîd, manifested, explored, hijab, heart, nephs and zikir, which are subject to the work.
