Abstract (EN)

This study aims to determine the impact of internal and external social capital on organizational Performance in family businesses. The field study was conducted on family businesses with ten or more people working and operating in TRB1 region which includes Malatya, Elazığ, Bingöl, Tunceli provinces. The data from the firms were obtained by conducting surveys. According to the research analysis and results, the hypothesis having been formed in the beginning of the study were revised and within the revised hypothesis it was found that statistically information sharing, trust and shared vision which are components of internal social capital and external social capital have positive effect on organizational performance in the family businesses in the region. In addition to the intended consequences of the study, within the framework of statistical analysis conducted, some foundings were also received which might be considered as unintended consequences and important.
