Executive leadership effects on motivation of employees in family owned companies: An application

Family owned Companies are important for National Economies. It is well known most of companies are family owned Companies in National economies. Today, it becomes to loom large, 2 factors that effect success of companies. Leadership and motivation. Leaders determine elements that effect motivation of employes in positive way and ensure these elements consistently, to provide to company pan out and forward company in accordence with company aims.Definitions about leadership, functions of leadership, differences between leader and managers, theory of classical and modern leadership is discussed and description and importance of motivation, instruments and theories of motivation, elements that effects motivation in businesslife, effects of leadership on motivations, appliances of motivation of leadership in family companies, is analysed comprehensively.In this study, It is aimed to determine effects managerial leadership on motivation of employees in family companies. Theorical parts of this study has prepared utilizing obtained bibliography. Applied survey arranged 2 different copy for leaders and employees. Survey applied employees of company founded and named Işılda Süt Sanayi. Study has been done in accordance with aim and obtained datas is commented.
