In fact, throughout the reigns of Kara Yülük OsmanBeg and Uzun Hasan Beg when the state became more powerful they changed theirpolitics against the Memluk and followed a violent politics. The Aq Qoyunlus saw the Memluks? territories as an expansion area and inorder to make this real they made ally even with the Republic of Venice during thereign of Uzun Hasan Bey. When the Aq Qoyunlus struggled to dominate the northboundary of the Memluks on the other hand struggled with the Ottoman State, whichwas another powerful Turkish State in Anatolia. As a result they were defeated byboth the Ottomans and the Memluks and this position coused them to lose theirpower. After the death of Uzun Hasan because of iner conflicts, the Aq Qoyunlusdeclined and their effects on the area became weaker. On the other hand the167Memluks during their inne conflicts, supported the help demands of Aq Qoyunlus asa result of their own politics.
