Environmental risks occuring in the process of transporting fuel by road Kayseri case

The transport of dangerous goods has created certain risks for humans and the environment. No matter how much precautions are taken during the transportation of dangerous goods, accidents inevitably occur and these accidents can affect millions of people. In the study, the environmental risks of fuels transported by highways were evaluated. The process of transporting dangerous goods by road, which six different fuel stations in Kayseri province buy and sell within a calendar year, and possible risks are examined. In addition, the risk table for accident scenarios was created by creating a table of risks that the driver may encounter on the road during transportation. While creating risk tables, 5x5 Matrix and Fine-Kinney Methods were used. Hazard situations and regulatory-preventive factors for these situations were determined. Within the scope of the study, road transportation of fuels is discussed. Possible risks and preventive factors were determined in the study. Hazardous materials that fuel stations purchase and sell annually are transferred to the study in tables. As a result of the study: solution alternatives are presented in order to prevent the possible effects of transported dangerous goods.
