Abstract (EN)

In the world, there are many diseases in ornamental plants caused by viruses and viroids. Until today, two viroids species have been indentified in the World that cause significiant economic losses specific to chrysanthemums. These are Chrysanthemum chlorotic mottle viroid (CChMVd) from Avsunviroidae family and Chrysanthemum stunt viroid (CSVd) from Pospiviroidae family. In this study, chrysanthemum plants collected from 3 different provinces in the Mediterranean Region were scanned by RT-PCR method and research was carried out for 4 different viroids. As a result of the study, 3 viroid agents were found in chrysanthemum plants. Two of these agents were Hop stunt viroid (HSVd) and Citrus exocortis viroid (CEVd) and the other factor was CSVd. CChMVd, which is a quarantine agent was not detected in this study. HSVd and CEVd agents were first detected in chrysanthemum plants in our country and location.
