Abstract (EN)
Within this this study; the place of Turkish Tourism in the Mediterranean Pot and EU Countries is evaluated with Multi Dimensional Scalling Analysis. Turkey must pay a serious attention to tourism diversification in order to get more share of the market having a competition with European Union (EU) Countries and especially with the Mediterranean Pot Countries with whom it has the common touristical product. This hypothesis is tested by using variants belonging to the years between 1996-2004 for the European Union and the Mediterranean Pot Countries. Therefore, by applying to Multi Dimensional Scalling Analysis, the place of Turkish Tourism in the Mediterranean Pot and EU Countries is endeavoured to be explained.Key words: Balance of payments, Touristical supply and demand, destination of tourism, touristical product.
