Abstract (EN)

In this study, adsorption of Acridine Orange using Lemna Gibba and Ulva Lactuca was studied. The effect of pH on adsorption was investigated for Lemna gibba and Ulva Lactuca. The optimum pH for each plants was determined to be 9 and 2 respectively. The effects of temperature at 20, 30, 40 degrees was researched. It was found that adsorption capacity of Lemna gibba increases with increasing temperature whereas adsorption capacity of Ulva lactuca decreases with increasing temperature. It was found that experimental results are fit the Langmuir isotherm model. According to the test results, we found that the equilibrium adsorption time for Ulva lactuca was 50 minutes, for Lemna gibba was 40 minutes. It was found that kinetic model are fit the pseudo-second order model.
