Abstract (EN)
This study aims to evaluate the prognostic significance of CD11b surface molecule expression in 50 adult patients diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), and to investigate its association with biochemical, hematological, and coagulation parameters. CD11b expression levels were retrospectively analyzed alongside patient demographics, complete blood count parameters, liver and kidney function tests, inflammation markers, and coagulation values. The results revealed that higher levels of CD11b expression were significantly associated with increased values of certain liver enzymes (ALT, AST, ALP, GGT), LDH, CRP, and D-dimer. These findings support the potential role of CD11b in AML pathophysiology and underline its prognostic value. Furthermore, the relationship between CD11b and inflammatory processes, cellular destruction, and coagulopathic complications is noteworthy. In conclusion, CD11b expression emerges as a valuable biomarker that may not only assist in diagnosis but also offer prognostic insights in AML patients. CD11b may serve as a promising parameter for the development of personalized treatment strategies in AML.
